Greetings Parents and Guardians,

This is Dr. Paul Stanton, the proud Superintendent of the Washington Elementary School District (国产探花). It is from the heart when I say I am incredibly grateful for the continued support of our Bond and Override. As you may have heard, our community voted in favor of both our Bond and Override, which will allow us to provide and maintain important programs and necessary upgrades at our school campuses. I am honored and cannot thank you and the voters enough for supporting the 国产探花Family. In this update, I will highlight some of our extraordinary students for their work and achievements.

November 2022 SUPER Kids and Staff Celebrations

Congratulations to the November 2022 SUPER Kids and SUPER Staff awardees from Cactus Wren Elementary School, Manzanita Elementary School, Palo Verde Middle School and Roadrunner Elementary School. Earlier this week, I had the pleasure to celebrate these amazing students and staff members with surprise visits at their schools and recognize them for their accomplishments and contributions. SUPER Kids received a certificate and a free pizza from Peter Piper Pizza, while SUPER Staff earned a certificate and Starbucks gift card. Final Group of Perfect Score Students Recognitions

The 国产探花Governing Board recognized the final group of students who received perfect scores on either the English Language Arts or Math portions of the 2021-2022 Arizona’s Academic Standards Assessment at a recent meeting. Congratulations to these remarkable students from Mountain Sky Jr. High School and Ocotillo Elementary School. November 2022 Student Artwork Displays

I am happy to honor our first group of students whose artwork was displayed in our Governing Board Room this school year from September to November. During a recent Governing Board meeting, the Board honored and awarded certificates to student artists from Abraham Lincoln Traditional School, Acacia Elementary School, Arroyo School, Chaparral Elementary School, Ironwood Elementary School, Lakeview Elementary School, Sahuaro Elementary School, Sunburst Elementary School, Sunset Elementary School, Sweetwater School and Tumbleweed Elementary School. These exceptional students inspire me, and I am proud to serve a district that provides such strong arts education programs that encourage creativity in our schools.

Support Staff Job Fair Reminder

Save the date! Our District is hosting a Support Staff Job Fair on Tuesday, November 22nd, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the 国产探花Administrative Center. We are hiring for several support staff positions in a variety of areas. Our District offers employees extensive benefits, including paid time-off, employer-matched contributions to Arizona State Retirement, insurance benefits for employees working at least 30 hours a week, discounts on 国产探花-sponsored childcare, extensive training and opportunities for advancement.

El Consejo Administrativo del 国产探花dio reconocimiento en una reunión reciente al grupo final de estudiantes quienes recibieron puntajes perfectos en ya sea las porciones de Lectura y Escritura o Matemáticas en la Evaluación de la Normas Académicas de Arizona 2021-2022. Felicitaciones a estos estudiantes extraordinarios de las Escuelas Mountain Sky y Ocotillo. Estoy muy orgullosos de ellos y de todos nuestros estudiantes quienes obtuvieron este éxito increíble este año escolar. Presentaciones de Obras Artísticas Estudiantiles en Noviembre 2022

Estoy contento de honrar a nuestro primer grupo de estudiantes cuyas obras artísticas fueron presentadas en nuestro Salón del Consejo Administrativo este año escolar de septiembre a noviembre. Durante una reunión reciente del Consejo Administrativo, el Consejo rindió homenaje y presentó certificados a estos estudiantes artistas de las Escuelas Abraham Lincoln Traditional, Acacia, Arroyo, Chaparral, Ironwood, Lakeview, Sahuaro, Sunburst, Sunset, Sweetwater y Tumbleweed. Estos estudiantes excepcionales me inspiran y estoy orgulloso de servir a un distrito que provee tales programas educativos sólidos de arte que animan creatividad en nuestras escuelas.
