    Almost 4,700 families and 2,600 staff members completed our parent and staff surveys between June 19 and June 26.

    Here’s a summary of the results:

    When asked why they chose the option above, parents top reasons were:

    Motivation of students

    Students should eat lunch in the classroom – 65% strongly agree/agree

    Students should eat lunch in the cafeteria – 62% strongly agree/agree

    If eligible for Transportation, will your child ride the bus – 19% yes

    Students should wear masks on the bus – 82% strongly agree/agree

    Students should wear masks at recess – 44% strongly agree/agree

    Students should NOT wear masks at recess – 56% strongly agree/agree

    Students should wear masks at school – 75% strongly agree/agree

    Staff should wear masks at school – 80% strongly agree/agree

    Visitors should be limited to the office only – 82% strongly agree/agree

    In analyzing the more than 1,700 comments a few themes emerged: scheduling, health/safety, social/emotional, lunch/recess, academics, and general statements.
