Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year, Aviators!

As the new principal of Alta Vista Elementary School, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I spent some time here in May before leaving for summer break and have had the pleasure of getting to know the staff, teachers, and some of the students. This is my 6th year in the Washington Elementary School District where I spent three years as an Instructional Coach and two years as an Assistant Principal. Prior to coming to 国产探花, I was a teacher in the Peoria Unified School District for 13 years.

I am an Arizona native and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Supervision and Administration (go Sun Devils!). In my free time, I love to travel, read, attend concerts, and spend time with my four beautiful nieces. 

I believe that education is a collaborative process. I am committed to working closely with faculty, staff, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
